Nov 15 - Going Home on Wednesday

Mimi, Helen, Alice & Fei got up early to finish packing and ready for the one and half-hours ride back to the Airport. We were talking continuously and did not feel like a long ride to the Airport.

Thanks to Alice for most of the driving during this trip.

Thanks to Mimi for using her Club Intrawest Resort & her GPS.

Thanks to Helen for her beauty tips (I discovered my eyelashes).

Time went by too fast for our 5-days gathering. I am sure we are looking forward to our next reunion.

Nov 14 - Desert Adventure on Tuesday

The Hummer ride to the desert was the highlight of the day. The road was bumpy and the scenery was spectacular.

Our experienced driver Jeff took us to the Palm Oasis and visited the Joshua Tree National Park to see the famous tall yucca.

In the afternoon, we went to the office of Club Intrawest. The setting is very pretty and the staffs are friendly. We checked-in our flights and took pictures in their office.

Later on, we visited downtown Palm Spring and ate at a French Restaurant.
To our surprise, there are only a couple of clothing stores. So, we went back to Palm Desert for more shopping.

Nov 13 - Visiting Downtown Palm Desert on Monday

We went to downtown Palm Desert for more shopping and dinning. There is a shopping Mall and many boutique stores along the street of Palm Desert.

We had Dinner at a nice Restaurant. With music playing, we really enjoyed the Caribbean food and the tropical atmosphere.

Nov 12 - Shopping at the Desert Hills Outlets on Sunday

Our first shopping destination is the Desert Hills Premium Outlets with over 100 stores. There are stores like Giorgio Armani, St. John, Coach, Elie Tahari, etc. We shopped until dropped around 6:00 PM. We slowly headed back to the Resort after dark.

After supper, we took turns to model our new clothes. We talked and laughed the whole evening.

Nov 11 - Arriving Club Intrawest in Palm Desert on Saturday

We met at the Airport of Ontario, CA on Saturday, 11/11/2006 for our annual get-together.

Our first stop was the famous Din Tai Fung Restaurant. The dishes were in small portion and tasted wonderful. We enjoyed the fine lunch with Mimi’s sister and brother who live in LA.

We brought bread, cakes, sweets, cold-dishes, fruits, and noodles to the Resort. By the time we arrived to Club Intrawest (this is Mimi & Ken's timesharing facility) in Palm Desert, it was close to 8:00 PM.

Without Mimi's GPS, we might not be able to find this place. Thanks, Mimi & Ken.
